Mosquito Control

  • How does your comfort package scheduling work?
You can set your own dates or let us do it for you. Schedule of treatment depends on time of season. For holiday and special event one time services, please call 24 hours in advance.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
Check, cash, Visa, Mastercard, or we can invoice you.
  • How long does a treatment take?
It depends on the size and nature of the property. The treatment may take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  • How long does the treatment last?
The duration of treatment is weather dependent and is effected by how often you water your landscaping. On average, a treatment lasts 20-35 days.
  • What does the treatment consist of?
Generally, a liquid mist is applied in and around your shrubs and foliage, around the eaves of structures, carport and patio areas. Highly infested areas and one-time special events require a fast, knock down thermal smoke application.
  • Do I need to be at home when the service is being completed?
We would like for you to be at home during the initial, first visit. However, it’s not required, nor do you need to be there during regular scheduled services.
Termite Control

  • Why are termites invading my home?
Termites have been around for millions of years. They live underground, beneath the frost line but above the water table. They are natures way of breaking cellulose material (wood) into soil, helping to aerate the soil. Termites do not know the difference between a home or tree.
  • Can we treat our own home?
In short, the answer is yes. However, in many cases, homeowners lack the technical knowledge and equipment needed to treat the ever changing building constructions.
  • What does it cost to treat my home?
The price is calculated either by linear footage for existing homes or square footage on new construction. This is called the initial cost of treatment. After the initial treatment, there are yearly renewal fees to maintain coverage.
  • Do you treat for Formosan and Dry Wood termites?
Yes. A soil and bating treatment will cover you for all subterranean termites. Dry Wood termites must be treated by either fumigation or spot treatments.
  • What is the difference between a flying ant and a flying termite?
Termites have straight antennae, uniform waists and equal size wings. Flying ants have elbowed antennae, constricted waists and forewings that are longer than the hind legs.
  • We’re building a new home. When does it need to be treated?
Treatment needs to be done after the plumbing is laid, but before the plastic is placed.
  • I’m selling my home. Is a termite inspection needed? What if termites are found?
A Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDIR) completed by a certified technician is needed. This report is valid for ninety days and covers carpenter bees, carpenter ants, powder post beetles and termites. If insects are active, treatment of the home will be needed.
